Robertas Beinaris was born in Kaunas in 1977. In 1995 he left the J. Naujalis Music Gymnasium where he studied under the teacher V.Masteika, in 2001 – graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (teacher R.Staškus’ class); in 2003 – completed his post-graduate studies of art. In 2002 and 2003, he was on probation at the Lyon National Music Conservatoire (prof. J.L.Capezzali’s and Guichard’s class).

R.Beinaris took second place at the J.Pakalnis Young Performers’ competition in 1995 and first prize at the international Jurijanu Andrejs instruments competition in 2001. He has participated in various master classes by the famous oboe players G.Meerwein, J.L.Capezzali, D.Walter, L.Hadady and P.Zamora.

R.Beinaris has performed solo with the orchestra della Toscana, the Tiroler Symphonie Orchester Insbruck, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanain Chamber Orchestra, the Lvov Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Kiev Chamber Orchestra of the soloists, the Hundisburg Orchestra of the International Academy, the Symphony Orchestra of the Lithuanain Academy of Music and Theatre, the Orchestra of Baroque Music “Musica Humana”, ST.Christopher Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestras of Klaipėda and Šiauliai, the orchestra of Lithuanian Army, the Kaunas String Quartet, the orchestras “Baltic Kremerata”, “Camerata Klaipėda“, „Banchetto Musicale“. R. Beinaris took part at many musical festivals in Lithuania and abroad.

Now R.Beinaris works as a professor at the Vilnius J.Tallat-Kelpša Conservatoire and the B.Dvarionas‘ Music School. In 2009 R.Beinaris started teaching oboe and chamber ensemble classes at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 2000, he combines this work with playing at the chamber orchestra „Musica Humana“ of the Lithuanian Philharmonic. R.Beinaris is a member of ensemble of contemporary music „Gaida“.

He played with many chamber ensembles and as a soloist in Germany, Italy, Austria, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, France, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland. R.Beinaris also gives classes at the camps organized by the M.Rostropovich Support and Charity Fund for Lithuanian Children. Since 2005 he organizes the Lithuanian Oboist Championschips, the Contests of Oboe Players named after Liutauras Vėbra and since 2008- International Competition of Chamber Orchestras „Musical Aquarelle“.

In 2007 R.Beinaris founded the oboe quartet. He is the leader of the quartet, too. In the same year R.Beinaris with the quartet won the first place at the VII th international competition „Music Without Borders“. In 2009 he won the prize for the best soloist at the Lithuanian Championschip of wind bands.
