Kristina Kuprytė has graduated from her MA course at the Lithuanian Academy of Music (with Doc. Regina Tamosaitienė) in 1999. Since 1994, the performer has been participating in the ensemble Sutartinė as a soloist. In 2000 – 2001, she was the concert-master of the kankles orchestra at the ensemble "Lietuva".

In 1990 the performer was awarded a diploma at the National Folk Instruments Competition, she became a laureate of the National J. Svedas Competitions (1992, 1994, 1998) and of the International J. Svedas Competition in 2000.

Kristina Kuprytė has given over 100 solo concerts in Lithuania and abroad. She has performed in Germany, France, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Italy, Spain, Canada, USA and Finland. Since 1994, the performer has been giving concerts in Belgium and Holland every year. In 1999, Kristina Kuprytė has played for the Dutch veterans of war. The prince of Holland Bernard von Lippe-Biesterveld and 3000 people in the audience listened to her playing in the town of Soesterberg. In 2003, Kristina Kuprytė participated in the final concert of the festival "Baltic kantele" at the Sibelius Academy, Finland.

The repertoire of Kristina Kuprytė mostly includes opuses by contemporary Lithuanian composers and classical Western European music, which she performs solo or with known Lithuanian and foreign performers. Among her performing partners have been the pianist Svesė Cepliauskaite, reed pipe player Egidijus Alisauskas, singer Cristel de Meulder and organist Jan Van Mol. In 2003, the performer played together with Siauliai Chamber Orchestra (led by B.Traubas).

Kristina Kuprytė has participated in many projects and events together with famous Lithuanian artists such as the actor V. Baranauskas, singers A.Visockis, G.Arlauskaitė-Vingrenė, A.Visockienė and V.Visockytė, also in projects "Artist for Homeland" (2003, Lithuania) and "Impression" (2001,  2004, Belgium). The performer has been many times a guest of television and radio programmes in Holland and Belgium. Her records are being played during radio programmes of classical music in Finland and Holland.
