1970 graduated from M.K.Ciurlionis School of Arts, Vilnius, majoring in piano
1970 - 1975 studied piano with Prof. S. Ziuraitiene at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, Vilnius; awarded diploma of concert pianist
1975-1982 studied organ with Prof. Leopoldas Digrys at the Lithuanian Academy of Music; awarded diploma of concert organist
1984 - 1990 participated in Organ Master Courses in Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Austria with Professors G.Litaize,G.Bovet, J.Guillon, M.Schneider, M.Schlechta, and A.Rösler.
In 1986 she gave solo recitals and appeared as soloist, premiering many works of Lithuanian composers in Organ Festivals and concert series organized by theLithuanian National Philharmonic Society. She has appeared as a member of different chamber ensembles, and together with choirs and vocalists. Mrs. Bundzaite has given concerts in Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, and Sweden.
1986 she became a head of the Piano and Organ Department at the Balys Dvarionas School of Music, Vilnius
Jūrate’s Bundzaite’s repertoire comprises old German music and works of the Romantic era, old and contemporary French organ music works, as well as works of the 20th century. She pays a very special attention to Baltic and Lithuanian music. In addition she is active in the Community of Lithuanian Organists, where she takes care of restoration of old instruments.

Zu Gast an der Rieger-Orgel in der Propsteikirche war die litauische Konzertorganistin Jurate Bundzaite. Mit virtuosem Zugriff interpretierte sie farbig und durchgestaltet Werke des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts, wobei sie quasi auf einem diagonalen Streifzug durch Europa bei sechs Komponisten einkehrte.
Am Sonntag eröffnete der Förderverein Geistliche Musik an St. Peter und Paul in Straelen die Konzertsaison. Den Anfang machte mit Jurate Bundzaite aus Vilnius (Litauen) eine erstklassige Solistin, die an der Orgel ein interessantes und abwechlungsreiches Programm bot.
