Ms. Eglė Andrejevaitė holds a Master of Music degree from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she studied under professor Halina Radvilaitė. In 2008 she received an Artist Diploma, and is now recognized as A Licentiate of Arts. Her major teachers include prof. Irena Armonienė and prof. Halina Radvilaitė.
Ms. Andrejevaitė in 2003 -2004 participated in the Erasmus/Socrates exchange program. That gave her a chance to study with prof. Konrad Richter Lied class at the Stuttgart University of Music and Fine Arts.


She is the recipient of numerous awards from various festivals and international competitions: Bucharest (2003), Agropoli (1999), Rome (2001), Paris (2002), Vilnius and Barletta (2003), Kiev (2004), Vilnius (2005). In 2007, she won the prestigious Grand Prix at the Third International Chamber Music and Concertmaster Competition of Youth in Klaipėda (Lithuania).


In the summer of 2010, Ms. Eglė Andrejevaitė participated in the XX-th International Summer Academy PragWienBudapest (Austria), where she, together with violinist Simona Venslovaitė, studied chamber music with professors Sh. Ashkenazy, H. Beyerle, S. Devich, G. Epshtein, J. Meissl, P. Prause, F. Rados and A. Kouyoumdjian.

 

Ms. Andrejevaitė frequently improves her skills in master classes within Lithuania as well as other countries. She has been taught by internationally acclaimed pianists such as: Prof. P. Geniušas, M. Rubackytė L. Dorfmanas, V.A. Banfield, H. Schicker, A. Dutkiewicz, among others. For five consecutive years, she held a scholarship allowing her to participate at the international master classes in Austria, led by Professor Konrad Richter.


A keen recitalist and chamber musician Eglė Andrejevaitė has shared the stage with the foremost Lithuanian artists of today. With the violinist Dainius Peseckas, she has prepared a recital that has been performed at the St. Catherine‘s Church (Vilnius) and broadcast by The National Radio Station. Ms. Andrejevaitė has collaborated with leading musicians such as vocalists Joana Gedminaitė, Ieva Prudnikovaitė, Mindaugas Zimkus, Rita Preikšaitė, violinist Ieva Paukštytė, violoncellist Mindaugas Bačkus and a piano quartet „Fresco“.


Ms. Andrejevaitė is passionate about the education of musically talented people based on quality and committment. She is a faculty member of the Balys Dvarionas Music School as well as the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she is working as an accompanist.
