Dovilė Bagdonaitė was born in 1982.


EDUCATION
2000 graduated from M. K. Čiurlionis Art Gymnasium, Prof. Veronika Vitaitė‘s piano class.
2003 studied piano at the Hanover Higher School of Music and Theatre with Prof. B. Berthold.
2004 graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, BA in piano.
2006 awarded MA in piano and pedagogy at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
Currently studying piano for practice-based PhD at the LMTA with Prof. V. Vitaitė.

CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
Dovilė Bagdonaitė has participated in various international and national piano competitions. She has given many concerts solo and with various performers. She has mostly given concerts at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, also at the Vilnius City Hall and various cities of Lithuania: Druskininkai, Šiauliai, Klaipėda, Kaunas, etc. She has performed solo and also as an accompanist at the Hanover Higher School of Music and Theatre and other venues in Hanover. She has given several concerts in Fehmarn (Germany). A favourable review of this performance was published in a Fehmarn daily.
She has given quite a few concerts together with soloist Vladas Bagdonas; she has also helped with recording his CD.
Bagdonaitė has participated in festivals: International Festival of Classical Music 2001-2003, Pearls of the Silver Age, Choir and Vocal Music Festival A Seacoast Song, Festival of Pupils of the Winds Departments of Vilnius Music Schools Let’s Rejoice Together. In 2006 she participated in the festival Druskininkai Summer with Čiurlionis and the XIII Festival of Professional Music in Visaginas I Sing Lithuania.
