Dalia Kuznecovaite was born on the 11th of October, 1988 in Vilnius; she started playing the violin at the age of four. From 1995 to 2007, she studied at the M. K. Čiurlionis Art School. From 2004 to 2007, she studied at the Higher Music School in Köln (with Prof. Z. Bron). She has been studying at the Higher Music and Theater School in Rostock (Prof. P. Munteanu) since 2007. From 2012 to 2015 Dalia studied at the National Conservatory of Paris for Music and Dance (with professors B. Garlitsky and S. Roussev). She graduated with top marks from the jury and a special prize.

Dalia is a laureate of numerous international and republican competitions.

In the year 2007, she won the Grand Prix in the international competition “Kloster Schontal “ (Germany) and earned a special award as the brightest participant of the competition.

In the year 2008, she became a laureate of the international J. Brahms competition in the city of Pörtschach (Austria) and also earned a special award of the Mozart Academy.

In the year 2008, Dalia won the first prize and gold medal in the international prestigious S . Szeryng five rounds’ competition in Toluca (Mexico).

Dalia has been a grantee of M. Rostropovich’s Fund since the year 2004.

As a soloist, the violinist, takes an active part in concerts, held in many countries of Europe and America. From time to time Dalia used to join the Symphony Orchestra “Deutsche Radio”, “Norddeutsche  Philarmonie” (Germany), Symphony Orchestra “Kärtmer” (Austria), Philharmonic Orchestra Kiew (Ukraine), Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada), Sczecin Philharmonic Orchestra (Poland), Mexico Philharmonic Orchestra, Guanajuato Philharmonic Orchestra (Mexico), Monterrey Symphony Orchestra (Mexico), Symphony Orchestra Languedoc Roussillon (France).

In the year 2009, for her creative achievement Dalia was granted an honorary award by the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus.

Dalia has been the primario of the Vilnius State Quartet since 2015.

Dalia is playing the violin “Dvorak 1899”, which belongs to Lithuanian Bank “Ukio Bankas”.
