"Camerata Palatina Vilnensis" was organized by Vilhelmas Čepinskis in 2004. This unique string orchestra, unlike any other Lithuanian ensemble, is comprised of thirteen young, most promising artists.
During five years of its existence orchestra "Camerata Palatina Vilnensis" achieved more than expected: orchestra played about two hundred concerts in Lithuania and abroad, opened The 8th International Sacred Music Festival in Gdynia (Poland) and 7th international short film festival “Tinklai”, closed the 16th International Music festival “Credomatic” (Costa Rica) and 1st festival of chamber orchestras in Kaliningrad, took a part in multicultural project “Fantomas”, which attained very big success. In 2008 "Camerata Klaipėda" performed in concert hall "Dom Muziky" and received splendid appreciations from Moscow audience. This year in Pažaislis Music Festival orchestra surprised audience with their performance with very profesional mouthorgan musician from Italy Gianluca Littera.
Musicians also organized an educational program for young talented children of Klaipėda city. For the finance, received for the concert “Young for young”, were bought the musical instruments, records and other educational implements for pupils from children’s home in Klaipėda region.
Orchestra "Camerata Palatina Vilnensis" performed with many Lithuanias and foreign profesional musicians like P.Geniušas, G.Gedvilaitė, V.Noreika, P.Berman, I.Novikov and others.
In 2009 Vilhelmas Čepinskis and “Camerata Palatina Vilnensis” in colaboration with music record company Warner Music released recording with the best Astor Piazzolla tango nuevo compositions (arr. V.Čepinskis).
“Camerata Palatina Vilnensis” performances were broadcast in Lithuania, Poland, France and Costa Rica. The international news channel CNN made an essay about Camerata Klaipėda
„Camerata Palatina Vilnensis“ – the great opportunity for young talents to gain experience by playing together with more proficient artists. This is why the orchestra doesn‘t have a strict steady consist.
The orchestra founder - Vilhelmas Čepinskis - enriched the repertoire by creating arrangements for violin and string orchestra. “Camerata Palatina Vilnensis” can boast of the repertoire ranging from baroque to the XXI century, though the greatest prominence is given to the compositions never performed in Lithuania before.
The artists wish to make a good show for the audience.
The future vision – „Camerata Palatina Vilnensis“ – the highest scale collective, well known in Europe and popularizing the name of his land and city outside the country.
