Having graduated from M.K. Čiurlionis Gymnasium of Art, A.T. Pšibilskienė continued viola studies in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under the professorship of J. Fledžinskas. She started her working career in 1968 as an illustrator at the Department of Chamber Ensemble at LMTA, and has been working as a professor at the Department since 1995.

In 1977 she completed post-graduate studies in P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and went on a study trip to Denmark.
In 1967 A.T. Pšibilskienė took the first place in International Contest of Students’ String Quartets in Riga. She played in Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and Vilnius Quartet, as well as had concerts in Lithuania and abroad both as a soloist and a member of ensembles. She prepared solo programmes with pianists R. Vaitkevičiūtė and P. Rosenbaum   (Denmark), harpsichordist G. Lukšaitė-Mrazkova (Czech Republic), violinists R. Katilius and M.Švėgžda, violists P.Radzevičius and P.H. Xuereb (France), organist J. Landsbergytė, Symphony Orchestra of Lithuania Minor, as well as St. Christopher, Klaipėda, Panevėžys and Šiauliai Chamber Orchestras.

A.T.Pšibilskienė prepared a number of different projects on chamber music in cooperation with R. Katilius, P. Geniušas, J. Damgaard, U. Host-Madsen, G.Tagmose (Denmark), C. Hustedt (Germany) and others. She had concerts in Denmark, Germany, Finnland, Sweden, Luxembourgh, Switzerland, Poland and the USA; participated in numerous festivals like “Gaida”, Pažaislis festival, “Marių Klavyrai”, “Kristupo Vasara”, Burglinster festival (Luxembourgh), “Probaltica” (Poland), Bornholm and Rosenholm festivals (Denmark), “Klassik im Grunen” (Germany) and others. A.T.Pšibilskienė was the first to perform compositions of V.Bentzon (Denmark), M.Marosh (Sweden), O. Balakauskas, A. Šenderovas, J.Andrejevas, N. Mūdraja and other Lithuanian composers. She recorded 8 compact disks (of chamber music in solo and with an ensemble). The compact disk of O. Narbutaitė’s chamber music, which was initiated and recorded by A.T.Pšibilskienė and published by Finlandia Records, was awarded the highest position – five stars – by the German magazine Fono Forum for the interpretation. The British company Guild published a compact disk of Lithuanian chamber music “Vėl“, recorded by A.T.Pšibilskienė, and Hans – Rosbaud – Studio (Germany) recorded 68 minutes of Lithuanian music (compositions of O. Narbutaitė, O. Balakauskas, R. Merkelis, B. Kutavičius, and M. Urbaitis). A.T.Pšibilskienė is the initiator and editor of the collection of notes “Lithuanian Chamber Music”.
A.T.Pšibilskienė published a number of articles in scientific and periodical publications, delivered courses on the artistry of chamber music in Denmark, Switzerland and Poland.

The students of her classes on the viola and chamber ensemble occupy a significant position in Lithuanian concert life, are well-known pedagogues, artists in numerous music groups and prizewinners of international contests.
