Algirdas Bagdonavičius is an actively performing singer. His repertoire is varied, stretching from renaissance to contemporary music. It is dominated by baroque and sacral arias as well as songs.
Education:
1995-2001 studied business management at the economics faculty of Vilnius University, received a masters degree.
2001-2009 studied solo singing in the Lithuanian National Academy of Music and Theatre, received a postgraduate degree. He was taught singing by professor Vytautas Juozapaitis.
The solist often participates in vocal masterclasses. In the last few years he has studied with many professors and participated in a variety of events:

Professional activities:
Participated in the Oper Oder Spree festivals in Germany during the summers of 2005 and 2006.
Debuted in the theatre on the 30th of April 2006 performing as Pilėnietis in the V. Klova opera Pilėnai staged for the 50th anniversary of the Chicago Lithuanian Opera.
From 2006 is the solist at the musical theatre of Panevėžys.
From 2007 is a solist at the musical theatre of Klaipėda.
From 2009 is a lecturer in the art faculty of The Vilnius University of Applied Sciences. He teaches solo singing to students of musical theatre and stage entertainment.
Finalist of the contest Triumfo Arka 2010.
From 2011 sings as countertenor (altus).
On the 27th of November 2011 won second place in the international chamber singing contest Beatričė.
From 2012 is a solist at the Baltic Chamber Opera Theatre.
From 2013 is a member of the Lithuanian Union of Musicians.
On the 5th of July 2013 received the status of an artist.
