Ala Bendoraitienė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music in 1987 where she studied piano with Prof. Mūza Rubackytė. In 1995–1996, she attended chamber music classes of Prof. Eugenijus Paulauskas, took part in the master class run by famous Polish pianist prof. Barbara Hesse-Bukowska, prof. Jokuthon Michailovich,  prof. Muza Rubackyte. A.Bendoraitienė accompanied many performers to competitions in Soviet Union and abroad as concertmaster. The juries of competitions awarded A. Bendoraitienė with diplomas in Odesa (1989), Vilnius (1989), Goricia (1996), Belgrade (1997), Erglu (2003) and Vilnius (2004).

The pianist has participated in the International Baltic Music Festival Gaida, New Music Festival and various chamber music festivals. In 1993, she gave concerts in Italy together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra (art director and conductor in chief Gintaras Rinkevičius). In her career, A. Bendoraitienė has given above 300 concerts together with famous musicians: Vilhelmas Čepinskis, Raimundas Katilius, Ilona Klausaitė, Darius Dikšaitis, Ramutė Kalnėnaitė, Andrius Radziukynas, Rita Prekšaitė, Zbignievas Levickis and others. As a soloist and member of various chamber ensembles Ala Bendoraitienė has given concerts in Lithuania, Russia, Italy, Poland, France, Yugoslavia, Portugal, Germany etc. Music performed by Ala Bendoraitienė is frequently broadcasted on Magyar Radio, BBC Radio, Lithuanian and Latvian radio.
Alos Bendoraitienė’s repertoire is particularly abundant with chamber compositions for various ensembles; she has been the first to perform opuses by many composers.

In 2005 as a member of  jury she took part in the Petar Konjovic competition of chamber ensembles in Serbia, she also  ran a lecture and gave a concert there , which was recorded into a CD. In the summer of 2007 she gave a concert together with Zakhar Bron. The pianist writes articles and the reviews of concerts for the musical press.

Together with the Italian violinist Beatrice Antononi and Kaunas Chamber Orchestra, she has published a CD. In 1995–1997, she worked at the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy as assistant concertmaster with Prof. R. Katilius; now Ala Bendoraitiene works at the National M.K.Chiurlionis art school as a piano teacher - methodist, concertmaster - expert, also as a concertmaster assistant in the Music and theatre academy of  Lithuania.
